Description
Originally baptized “Brother Love”, this bumble bee figurine designed by Gerhard Skrobek in May 1964 waited for its great appearance over half a century. The two Bavarian rushes, equipped with a small basket, leave open what exactly they intend to do. Due to the current name “Mother’s Day”, it is close that the two boys are looking for a Mother’s Day gift. But the original bumble bee figure itself is an ideal Mother’s Day gift. Like all other original Bumble bee characters, the figure is designed according to the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Bumblebee. The Bumble Bee figure appears alongside other characters designed as Mother’s Day gifts. For example, the bumble bee figurine “For Mami” (HUM 2258).
