The Mitchell Avocet Powerback Sea Bass Rod is a complete powerhouse, the 8ft and 9ft rods are rated from 40 – 100g (1-3oz) they are pretty much the only dual purpose bass rod we’ve ever found, the length is that of a standard sea bass lure rod but the power rating is off the scale, meaning it’s equally at home throwing lures with no loss of responsiveness and rolling a lead through the gullys with a big peeler or worm bait.
