In nature, a gentle breeze is enough to scatter the beautiful flower head of a dandelion in all directions. It is therefore bordering on the impossible to preserve such a delicate structure intact and in all its details. In this extraordinary paperweight, every single seed is clearly visible – a fascinating sight that enthrals the viewer time and again.
The diameter of the dandelion is pretty much exactly the same as the diameter of the paperweight, thus filling it completely.

The individual plants are freshly processed, and so the cycle of the seasons also determines the production of these enchanting objects. In an elaborate manufacturing process, the hand-picked plants are first dried and then poured into synthetic resin.
The resin contains a UV filter, so that the flowers permanently retain their original colour splendour and do not fade. Finally, the castings are shaped and polished to a high gloss. The round shape allows the viewer to admire the beauty of the flowers from any angle.
It is in the nature of things that every paperweight is a unique individual piece. No two items are exactly the same. For this reason, slight deviations from the image and a slight clouding of the resin are unavoidable.
