What is Parissa Hot Wax? This is a hair removal product. It is known as strip-less wax because fabric strips are not needed. The wax is applied when warm and firms up as it cools and becomes the strip itself. For this reason, it is particularly well suited for short, coarse hair because it literally shrink-wraps around each hair, grabbing hold of the most stubborn hairs to lift them out from the root. The waxing kit comes with 4 oz. / 120g Hot Wax, 3 spatulas and Aftercare oil.
How do I use it? Place the metal pan (containing the Hot Wax) on your stove-top or on the Parissa Wax Warmer. Once the wax is liquid like honey, carefully test temperature before applying. Apply a nice solid thick layer in the opposite direction of hair growth. Keep the edge thicker and rounded. Wait for the wax to become firm and no longer tacky to the touch. Peel the edge and then quickly zip away the wax. Work in small patches. Note: NOT for use in the microwave.
