The light has a luxurious stainless steel finished and the included bulb produces a cool white light. The solar panel is located on top of the light and as a result, the light does not need to be wired or use any power. It is energy efficient and A++ rated. The solar panels charge during the day in the light, even on cloudy days. The included LED bulbs of the light are 0.5W and produce 40 Lumens. This can be compared with the light output of an incandescent light bulb with approximately 4 W. The colour temperature of the bulb in 5000k, which produces a cool white light. Motion Sensor The Ranex Olav Solar Wall Light features an integrated day to night and PIR motion sensor meaning the light will turn on automatically when motion is detected. The sensor has a 100° detection angle and a 7 meter range. After one minute the light will automatically turn itself off again. This offers you extra security in your home, as the light will deter intruders and scare away unwanted visitors. You can also use the on/off switch to operate the light manually.
