The terrible final confrontation, under the eyes of Bilbo Baggins, is about to start the courageous warriors of the free people: Elves, Dwarves and Men have put in place a difficult alliance to defend the Solitary Mountain and the treasure of Smaug. Now, they will face the endless hordes of servos of Negrome. The Ombra armies, led by Bolg, Son of Azog, are going to sweep away the ruins of Dale and the front door with an unstoppable attack. Will Goblin come through the mountains to overwhelm the free people with a two-way attack? Will Beorn arrive, the underwear, reverse the result in favour of free people? Will the Aquile drop stop Goblin from crossing the mountain? The Battle of the Five Armies is a game for two players that allows you to recreate the epic conclusion of the Hobbit, the world renowned masterpiece of JRR Tolkien. The first player will be in control of the Shadow with the armies of Bolg, the son of Azog, the King of Goblins of Mount Gundabad, while the second player of free peoples will have control of Men, Dwarves and Elves, led by Gandalf to repel the goblin army. Based on the mechanics of the acclaimed Game of the War of the Ring, the Battle of the Five Armies fuses action dice and event cards, to make each game a unique experience. The system has been further improved with the addition of the ‘Fato’ mechanism, which will manage the arrival of allies and the activation of special events. All the key characters of the battle: Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin, Dain, the King of the Elves, Bard, Beorn, Bolg are present with powerful special skills and unique sculptures.
