The Roman Britain Presentation Pack takes the reader back to the time of Roman occupation and looks at various areas of life and the impact the Roman’s had during the 400 years mainland Britain was a province of the Roman empire. The pack also contains information on the eight special stamps. This period has a profound effect on British society, laws, language, art, architecture, culture and beliefs. Rome’s legacy is visible in standing remans such as forts and villas and archaeological finds displayed in museums across the UK.
