ie: The Power of Flowers
Tussie Mussie is a card game based around the mechanics of draft, by Elisabeth Hargrave, the author of Wingspan. Players try to compose the most beautiful bouquets of flowers to impress their neighbors. Each game lasts approximately 30 minutes, for 1 to 4 players aged 8 years old.
The game revolves around a system of Offerings: each turn, you offer 2 cards to your neighbor (left then right), one face up and the other face down. He chooses one of the two that he has before him, and the other returns before you. Everyone does the same. Once each player has 4 cards in front of him, we count the points for the current round. Hidden cards are only revealed at the end of the round, when counting points. The cards go either in the Bouquet (visible faces) or in the Remembrance (hidden faces), so you have to skillfully choose the cards in order to create the strongest combinations! Especially since on the 18 cards of the game, a large number have special effects…
