A great value large chess set, suitable for use inside or out. The Large Plastic Chess Pieces look great when laid out and they are also highly practical allowing players of all ages to enjoy chess in a very sociable way. The Plastic Chess Pieces have a felt layer on their base so they will move easily and not scratch other surface they are placed on to. The bases of the Large Chess pieces range from 6cm for the Pawns to 9cm for the Kings in diameter. Please note that Large Chess Pieces do not include a playing surface. We offer a choice of either a Plastic Lawn friendly Garden Chess Board or a Nylon Garden Chess Mat. We also offer chess bags as an optional extra for better storage and easier transportation.
