Soak up some oil with a lint-free cloth or paper towel and apply on a dry clean surface. Rub in the direction of the wood grain. Let the oil sit for at least 30 minutes. Remove excess oil with a cloth and allow to dry for 3 to 7 days between coats. Apply up to 4 coats, depending on the condition of the wood. More porous wood will require extra coats. Dry used rags or cloths flat to prevent the small possibility of spontaneous combustion repair of damaged or scratched areas A tung oil coat is easy to maintain. Re-apply one or two coats of Uulki 100% Pure Tung Oil once a year and the wood will keep its fresh look.
