Description

The story of three Jewish women in Pittsburgh. In their mid-to-late fifties, they have all recently been widowed, and once a week they meet at their husband’s graves then go for coffee to talk about their lives: Doris (Olympia Dukakis) takes her job as a widow very seriously; Lucille (Diane Ladd) wants to start dating as revenge against her husband who often cheated on her; and Esther (Ellen Burstyn) feels very lonely but is not ready for the dating circuit quite yet.
