Checking the speed displayed on the speedometer requires taking your eyes off the road for a few seconds. If an obstacle (vehicle, pedestrian, animal, etc.) appears in your path during those seconds of distraction, your reaction capability is reduced, which can be dangerous, especially at high speeds.
A few seconds of distraction are also enough to unintentionally veer into the other lane.
Self-diagnosis function: The system automatically detects faulty radar sensors. Indicators alert you when there is a radar sensor malfunction.
To help maintain the speed limit, the system also warns you when you exceed the previously set speed limit.
