How to Install:
1). Drill the pilot holes through both leaves to the required depth and diameter. Drill the holes 10mm longer than the tie and to achieve a minimum 70mm embedment in the inner leaf.
2). Insert the rod driver installation tool tool into an SDS rotary hammer drill. All small remedial wall tie kits are sold with a 2 Piece Installation Tool, which comprises a rod-driver and a recessing tool.
3). Insert the remedial wall tie into the rod-driver and drive as far as it will go. When the drill is removed, the tie will be projecting approx 10mm from the face of brickwork. Insert the recessing tool into the rod driver, then drive the tie so that it is recessed into the wall.
4). Make good to the pilot hole, using Titan Ties Injectable Repair Mortar
