Description
Beaphar Anti-Mange is a veterinary medicine containing ivermectin. It is intended for use on rabbits & guinea-pigs, and is highly recommended for curing pets of the burrowing mites that cause mange. Especially popular in autumn when mange is common in guinea-pigs.
This product will only work if the liquid solution reaches the skin so it must be sprayed against the lie of the coat. Using a gloved hand, stroke the fur / hair backwards, revealing the skin, and spray the affected area. If treatment is required on the head, use a cotton wool ball which has been sprayed and apply this to affected areas rather than spraying directly onto your pet. The spray must not enter the nose, mouth or eyes. For adult Guinea Pigs, use 2 sprays For young Guinea Pigs (4-9 weeks old) and rats, use 1 spray For rabbits older than 4 weeks, use 2 sprays per kilo of bodyweight. The treatment can be repeated after 10 days.
