By adding alcohol, the various dyes with which we have created this alcohol ink colour are activated. Depending on the amount of alcohol added, a fantastic play of colours unfolds, in which the most diverse shades of colour come to light.
For the use in epoxy resin we recommend a test in advance, because the colour reacts differently with each resin.
The Octopus Fluids Alcohol Ink Shadow is a transparent and fast-drying colour with an alcohol base developed especially for fluid painting techniques. It can be used on almost all smooth, non-porous materials. It is best suited to synthetic papers (e.g. Yupo Paper), glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, modelling clay and stone ? the applications of Octopus Fluids Alcohol Inks are almost endlessr drying, the acid-free Alcohol Inks are smudge- and waterproof, but can be re-liquefied or removed at any time using isopropyl alcohol. Even better results can be achieved using our Octopus Fluids Cleaner.
Used with the Octopus Fluids Blending Solution, which is designed especially for our Alcohol Inks, you can achieve enhanced colour nuances and effects. Our specially developed cleaner completes our range of products.
