The Yale Essentials 5 pin EURO Profile cylinder range is used in conjunction with pvcu and composite doors, and can also be used with EURO Profile cylinder operated mortice locks on wooden doors. The cylinder is easy to fit; simply remove the handle, unscrew the cylinder and replace with your new Yale Essentials cylinder. Within this range, cylinder sizes vary from 70mm-85mm depending on the size of your door. To ensure that you purchase the correct sized cylinder for your door, measure from the left end of the cylinder to the centre of the fixing hole and repeat on the right hand side.
