- Aramid fibres (as used in bulletproof vests) are weaved within the carbon fibres at the top of the racket for maximum shock resistance. Combined with a PTFE (Teflon) treatment increases the sliding effect on contact with the wall/floor for maximum abrasion resistance. The new mix of materials provides even more resistance than a traditional bumper.
