Description
work cable • Full copper 32AWG wires, 50μ gold RJ-45 contacts • Only 3.8mm outer diameter sleeve to improve airflow in cabinets • Snagless boots • For duct applications • Technical specifications conform to international standards • Cables 100% tested • 50% tested • 50 micron gold RJ-45 contacts Cat- ccc- 6a U/FTP slimline data center Ethernet cables have a smaller diameter (3.8 vs. 5.9 mm) than conventional CAT6A patch cable. The bending radius is less than conventional patch cables. This results in better airflow in the housing. Although ISO/IEC and TIA standards describe the use of patch cables between 22 and 26 AWG, 32AWG patch cables can also be used. This results in higher attenuation, especially at higher frequencies. ACT therefore recommends a shorter permanent connection length than conventional 24AWG patch cables. Therefore, this higher damping can be adjusted. ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 cables in PoE applications. In this case, the temperature of the cables for PoE does not increase. The ANSI TSB-184-A standard limits the maximum temperature rise to less than 15 degrees Celsius above the ambient temperature for the middle cable in a bundle.
