The VKL 6040 glazing packers are manufactured with the greatest precision in Germany and impress with their high-quality workmanship and durability. The plastic spacers fulfil a variety of practical purposes that go far beyond window construction. Among other things, they can be used to underlay when assembling furniture and kitchens, to level floors and ceilings or to fill gaps of all kinds. The slightly grooved surface of the plastic sheets ensures ideal vapour pressure equalisation and thus prevents potential mould growth. The shims measure 60mm x 40mm with a thickness of 1.5-20mm and are available in packaging units of 20, 50, 75, 100, 200, 250, 500 and 1000 pieces as well as a set (160 pieces) with 20 pieces of each thickness and a set (1225 pieces) with 5×200 pieces (1.5-5mm), 1×100 pieces (10mm), 1×75 pieces (15mm), 1×50 pieces (20mm). The VKL 6040 blocks are made of temperature-, weather- and light-resistant polypropylene (PP). This robust plastic does not contain any PVC plasticisers and is characterised by its enormous durability. In addition, polypropylene (PP) can be combined with all standard compound edge materials without any problems. Our shims can be loaded by the ton (up to 5 t), screwed, drilled and bent without breaking. The plastic spacers thus enable a wide range of applications in renovation as well as in new construction. The VKL 6040 window packers can be used, among other things, as an assembly product when installing windows and panes, as a window adjustment tool, as tile wedges, as parquet or laminate spacers and as wedges when aligning heating systems or thermal baths.
