Our new Accuratus ECO RANGE is made using wheat grass polymer which is a bio plastic. Wheat is a cereal harvested for flour however only the ear of the wheat is used in flour, the remaining product is straw which has very little nutritional value and used in animal bedding, thatching etc. The straw is often burnt after the wheat is harvested. The straw naturally stands upright as the stem contains lignin which is an organic polymer and provides the support structure for many plants. It is this lignin which is used to make our wheatgrass polymer keyboards, mice, speakers, earphones etc. Lignin is broken down by bacteria and mixed with natural sugars to create a workable material which has a lot of the features of plastic without the added artificial chemicals and without using fossil fuels. The Wheatgrass Image keyboard is the perfect Eco-Friendly edition to your workspace. Made from Wheat Polymer, the keyboard plastics are fully biodegradeable, with a sleek modern design.
