Ahmad Tea has created the perfect partnership of soothing South African rooibos and aromatic cinnamon with this herbal blend. It’s a wonderfully warming infusion that helps you to both relax and rejuvenate after a hard day. Rooibos (also known as red bush tea, bush tea and red tea) is grown in the Western Cape of South Africa. Although it’s a popular alternative to black tea, rooibos is purely herbal. It boasts a lovely nutty flavour and fruity aromas, without any bitterness or tannins. Naturally caffeine free and rich in antioxidants, it’s no wonder rooibos is so popular worldwide. Our Tea Masters add just enough cinnamon to complement the earthy notes of the rooibos, enhancing it with a satisfying spiciness. It makes for a deliciously clean but comforting cuppa with a deep golden colour and warming aromas. Ahmad Tea’s Rooibos & Cinnamon Infusion won a Great Taste award in 2017. The judges commented: “This infusion shows a skilled hand. Well balanced without any cinnamon overload, on the contrary the rooibos is enhanced. This is a very pleasing drink with a sweet aftertaste. Great clarity and clean tasting. A refreshing brew.” Each teabag comes individually foil-wrapped so it reaches you fresh and full of flavour. We like it ‘as it comes’, but try with a splash of milk for a richer brew. It’s great for a refreshing afternoon cuppa, or enjoy its sweet, relaxing qualities before bed.
