The B119 Beethoven safety boot from BASE PROTECTION is the classic, comfortable work boot for the professional contractor. It features a full-grain leather upper, which provides a natural, breathable solution that is also water-resistant to meet with the S3 WRU classification, while the steel toe cap features a TPU over cap for abrasion resistance and longer life. The flex system offers a metal-free, puncture resistant midsole. The safety boot features a large, V-shaped padded collar, which guarantees a comfortable fit around the ankle and avoids tendon inflammation, too. The safety boot has a fabric lining which is treated using the smell stop process and offers protection against bacteria and the bad odours caused by sweat. The high breathability of the upper combined with the smell stop technology work together to keep the foot dry and comfortable. The bellow tongue prevents dust and dirt ingress into the boot. The uses the airtech system: a technology which allows the increase of the midsole to improve cushioning. A reduction of the outsole to a thin layer of just a few millimetres is then achieved using a TPU skin rather than traditional, weighty materials. These technologies offer the wearer a true anti–fatigue sole, which means less tiredness and greater comfort whilst still achieving SRA, SRB and SRC slip resistance ratings. This complete design offers the wearer increased flexibility, lighter weight and less pressure on the metatarsal and the benefit is simply greater comfort in daily use
