Caran d’Ache draws on a priceless heritage of technical expertise to preserve the art of handwriting. The company’s writing instruments, globally recognised for their excellence, are entirely produced in Geneva. The Ecridor Collection has long been unmistakeable emblems of the Caran d’Ache expertise. The collection is constantly evolving, offering its hexagonal body to the talents of the master engravers who are always looking to develop new guillochage design. A simple design based on a hexagonal body made of brass with silver-plated, rhodium coated finish. The Ecridor Chevron is inspired by the popular reversed V-shape design; the chevron guilloche is engraved with the use of a diamond. The Ecridor Chevron mechanical pencil is equipped with a push button mechanism and flexible clip. Supplied with 0.7 mm Graphite leads and the convenience of the replaceable eraser positioned under the push button will be appreciated, all supplied in a Caran d’Ache luxury gift box.
A real classic. Coolly understated with the classic Caran d’Ache pocket clip. Proudly stamped ‘Swiss Made’.
Caran d’Ache, founded in 1915 by Arnold Schweitzer, was a product of Switzerland’s long history of watchmaking and jewellery manufacture. Today, it is the epitome of superior quality and recognized expertisen d’Ache’s Ecridor Collection, with its hexagonal shape, simple decoration, luxury materials and “Swiss made” quality, remains the public’s permanent favourite. Each product is created by hand in the Geneva workshops and brings together the traditional expertise of master craftsmen and the performance of computer-assisted machine tools.
Today, Caran d’Ache has reviewed all its designs and has retained the most successful of them. They will now be offered in rhodium-coated silver plated or gilded available in four writing instruments: fountain pen, rollerball, ball point and mechanical pencil. Each year, the legendary range will be enhanced with special editions, such as Ecridor Eclat and Ecridor “Grain d’orge” in rhodium-coated, sterling silver.
