Fitting CORE Grip Tape to your stunt scooter is a simple process that can be completed in a few easy steps. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you fit your new grip tape:
Step 1: Remove the old grip tape. Peel the Grip tape off the deck from the edges, we recommend using a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the glue underneath.
Step 2: Clean the scooter deck. Use a damp cloth to remove any remaining adhesive residue and dirt from the scooter deck.
Step 3: Cut the new grip tape. Trim your Grip tape to the shape or design of your choice.
Step 4: Apply the new grip tape. Peel off the backing paper from the new grip tape and carefully align it with the scooter deck. Use your fingers to press the grip tape firmly onto the deck, making sure to eliminate any air bubbles or creases.
Step 5: Trim the edges. Trim the excess grip tape along the edges of the deck. Make sure to cut the grip tape flush with the edge of the deck for a neat and professional finish.
