This Easy Wood Tools Pro Size Rougher comes with one installed Ci1-R4 Carbide Cutter. The cutter’s are designed so that you do not have to “find the bevel” when turning. Simply advance the tool slowly into the work piece (lay the toolbar flat and horizontal to the floor) and begin cutting straight in on the center of the work-piece..h makes our tools safer. You can sweep the cutter from left to right, or right to left. When a cutter edge becomes dull simply loosen the screw, turn cutter to fresh cutting edge and tighten screw back down. Optional Cutters: Ci1-Square or Ci1-R2 w/2″ radius on 4 turning surfaces and Ci1-R2-NR Patented Negative Rake Cutter w/2″ radius ground on the four turning surfaces..t for turning resins, acrylics and extreme hardwoods.
