Solar Powered. The autovent is powered entirely by the heat in your greenhouse which heats the Wax in the Power Cylinderpushing the piston out and slowly opening the window. The hotter the temperature, the further the window opensts to open at around 16°C (60°F) and reaches the maximum opening at 26°C (80°F). This helps tomaintain optimal growth conditions in your greenhouse and automates the ventilation process. You can alter the opening and closing temperatures by screwing the cylinder in or out using trial and error to fnd your ideal settingse may be a slight variance according to your locality and local conditions.
Strength. Maximum load 15lb(7Kg) which is easily enough for a typical Greenhouse window. Any more than 7kg and you are advised to add a second Autovent.
Universal. The autovents are designed to be universal fitting and should fit ALL major Greenhouse designs. They can beeasily incorporated into self built structures and Coldframes alike.
Assembly Fitting is pretty straightforward and there is an instructional image. You can also do a search on Youtube for one of the many instructionsl videos.
