Description
A workbook to help young children develop strong self-belief and self-confidence as they start to learn new sills and new subjects. Based on a new theory of self-confidence developed by the author, who has had 30 years’ experience in working with self-esteem and self-confidence building, this new resource specifically builds self-confidence in young children. Self-confidence is more than an inner sense of self-worth such as we find in children who have sound self-esteem. It is a set of skills underpinned by self-belief. As the child moves from learning a new skill, through to having mastery in that skill, they develop strong confidence and their self-belief increases as they form the essential three personal beliefs that cement success into place. This resource is carefully constructed to provide a programme that takes a young child step through the developmental stages necessary to gain strong self-confidence. The content is based on the latest findings from neuroscience on how the brain develops the skills and attitudes necessary and are an important tool in any early years setting. Ages 4-7
