In day-to-day use, electromagnetic field (EMF) meters are used to diagnose problems with electrical wiring and power lines. On television shows such as Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters, professional ghost hunters and paranormal investigators frequently use EMF meters in their toolkits. Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler used PKE meters in Ghostbusters, but “real” ghost hunters use EMF meters as a key part of their specter tracking arsenal. Ghost hunters use the meters to look for spikes in the EMF signal, with the spikes suggesting a change in electrical current, and thus a spirit being. Samples every 0.4seconds and detects from 50Hz to 20MHz. Audible clicks and alarm so you can hear in the dark. Complete with English instruction manual. Requires 9V battery (not included). PLEASE NOTE: EMF on mobile phones is very VERY small and this unit shouldn’t be used to detect EMF on cell phones!
