Classic range Turtle Mats contain micro-fibre too, helping to trap smaller dust particles and dry dirt. Turtle Mats are made to high quality standards and have a 5-year guarantee against defects. Kind to the environment too; all design mats are made from recycled cotton Turtle Mats have a range of backings; Latex, (rounded corners) for anti-slip performance on hard floors and a lightly studded ‘Multi-Grip’ backing (square cut corners) for use on all floor surfaces including carpets. PVC and vinyl free, both backings are anti-stain and approved by top flooring specialist, Karndean. Suitable for all areas in the home. The cotton tufts work like a towel becoming more absorbent with frequent washing. We recommend you shake or vacuum to remove loose particles, machine wash at no more than 40°C using a colour-kind detergent, do NOT use fabric conditioner – this will reduce absorbency. Tumble dry on low-heat or allow to dry naturally Vacuum/clean both the mat and the area under the mat regularly,ensure the mat and floor area are dry before replacing. Like any high-quality natural fibre mat, rug or carpet, Turtle Mats will initially shed fibres.
