Made in the UK since 1985, the Weather Writer waterproof clipboard has been trusted to protect your notes from the rain and wind for over 20 years. On wet or windy days release the Velcro fastening to automatically open up the sprung, clear hood. You can now read and write on your papers whilst keeping them protected from the rain and wind. On dry days, keep the Weather Writer closed, turn it onto its back and use it as you would a normal clipboard. The standard clip version has a clip at the top both inside and on the reverse, for holding your paper. The double clip version also has a clip on the bottom on the reverse so that your paper can be held top and bottom in gusty but dry weather. The Weather Writer has two integrated, internal pen pockets. It comes with a name card so that you can personalize your Weather Writer. Lightweight and easy to carry, it can be hung round your neck using our Weather Writer Safety Neck Cord accessory, allowing you to go hands-free safely. Other accessories include a full torch system for night-time outings and an equipment strap for stopwatches. Weather Writer Secure Lift lifters give you enhanced access to your notes by allowing you to lift the internal clips from the outside, essential when working outside in bad weather. Everything in a Weather Writer is custom-made to suit cold, wet conditions. The plastic is specially softened to our own recipe to prevent it cracking in cold weather. The board is laser-cut and made from high-grade plywood that does not warp, keeping your writing surface flat. The springs are specially torsional to provide a strong support to the clear-hood when opened. The frame, springs and clips are plated to prevent any rusting. Finally, the hood is made from cold-pressed super-clear PVC so that there is no distortion when you look through the hood onto your papers below. This is a product designed to last – any manufacturing fault will result in a no-questions asked replacement.
