Celtic Glass Designs create significant and expressive gifts designed by Beverley Gallagher. Our Puffins are pictured in the Scottish Isles, but they could equally be off the Northumberland coast. It’s early summer, and the pink thrift is blooming. The Puffin is an unmistakable bird with its black back and white underparts, and distinctive black head with large pale cheeks and a tall, flattened, brightly-coloured bill. Its comical appearance is heightened by its red and black eye-markings and bright orange legs. Being self-cling they are easy to apply. Just peel off the backing sheet and smooth on to a clean window. Unlike window stickers, static clings are fully repositionable and leave no residue. Colourful and decorative in their own right, they are useful for placing on internal sliding doors and windows, helping to prevent people (and birds flying outside) from bumping into the glass.
